The Museum has many partnerships with organisations both locally and abroad. This network of organisations allows the museum to influence, help, share ideas and ultimately build better understanding between different components of society. The international partnerships has also allowed for exchange programmes, in particular the partnership with the Swedish museum Malmo allowed the development of projects reflecting common issues of loss and memory, culminating in exhibitions seen in Sweden and South Africa.
