Our Stories: Writings from the District Six Museum

This publication originates out of storytelling workshops held by the Museum in 2018.  It features the prose and poetry of Solly Ariefdien, Amelia Brinkhuis, Ncebakazi Mnukwana, Nur Toefy, Ismail Waja and Patience Watlington. Together they embarked on a journey of penning their own stories, and holding space for difficult dialogues around racism, trauma and the danger of telling a single story about District Six.
