All quotations used are sourced from life history interviews that were conducted with former District Six residents since 1999. Permission has been granted to use them to promote the Museum’s work.

Where possible all images have been credited and used with permission. Images may be used on social media platforms with appropriate acknowledgement of the photographer/donor and the Museum.  To reproduce images found on this website for commercial, research or publication purposes please email archives@districtsix.co.za or info@districtsix.co.za
