‘A MAN OF GOOD HOPE’

by | 9 Mar 2016 | Uncategorized

The world premiere of this moving and well-crafted production will take place at the District Six Museum, 25A Buitenkant Street, Cape Town! Be sure to book your tickets well in advance.

The adaptation of the book by Jonny Steinberg portrays the extraordinary odyssey of a young man through Africa, mirroring the experiences of so many displaced people on our continent who eventually end up becoming refugee statistics.

In the signature style of the Isango Ensemble, music plays a central role in the narrative and will be used as an emotional and intellectual comment on the action.

Tickets cost R 100 for adults and R 50 for school-going children and South African pensioners. Please enquire about special rates for registered Seven Steps members. Bookings can be made online by visiting www.webtickets.co.za  or by calling Zahra Hendricks at 021 4667200. You can also email her at reception@districtsix.co.za.
